The Komen Tissue Bank will host a second edition of Sample Science, a virtual event, on April 22, 2021, at 5:00 pm EST. Join Dr. Rulla Tamimi, Chief of Epidemiology at Weill Cornell Sandra and Edward Meyer Cancer Center. Dr. Tamimi will explain the importance of longitudinal studies to medical research. In the same session, the Executive Director of the KTB, Anna Maria Storniolo, MD, will help explain how the KTB became a longitudinal study and what that means, including why the medical follow up emails that are sent once a year are so important for our tissue donors to complete.

To join us, please register by clicking here, or by copying and pasting the following link in your browser https://iu.zoom.us/webinar/register/WN_NDaCWnt0SSaN9y1Bq8sgvg.

We anticipate this presentation will last about an hour.

The KTB would love to have you help us commemorate IU Day, the virtual celebration where the Indiana University family comes together to support worthy causes and one another.

Thank you for your continued support of the Komen Tissue Bank.  Please let us know if you have any questions about this event.
